Tekken 7, the newest entry in Bandai Namco’s hugely-popular Tekken gaming franchise, will be launched globally for Sony’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft’s Xbox One and Windows PCs in June. However, some of the in-game footage has already been uploaded on video-sharing website YouTube as a video series. The videos highlight the game’s story mode, character customization options, and more.

Uploaded by a YouTube user named Zanar Aesthetics, the videos highlight that players will be able to choose costumes of the characters, add different items to their attires, tweak hair color and headgear, add face masks and do a lot more. One of the videos shows the beginning of Tekken 7’s story mode.

Some of the videos show the gameplay where two characters are battling each other. The graphics and animation definitely seem better than the previous versions. Also, the battle moves by characters look much smoother than before.

The main menu of Tekken 7 includes several options such as The Mishima Saga, Online, Offline, Customization, Jukebox, Gallery, Options and Player information.

For those unaware, Tekken 7 for now is only limited to Japan. The title is also the first to make use of Unreal Engine 4. We might see more official footage during the upcoming E3 2017 conference, which is scheduled to take place between June 13-15.
Tekken 7 comes with two new fighting mechanisms. The ‘Rage Art’ mechanism lets the player attack rivals, inflicting 30% damage once their health bar reaches critical. Another mechanism introduced in the Tekken 7 is the ‘Power Crush’. In this, the character absorbs the damage by an opponent from a mid or high attack but still continues to battle. We will get to know more about the title next month.
